7-Day Jordan Highlights Tour

Upon your arrival in Jordan, your guide will drive you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in process. Afterward, your guide will lead you to the center of Amman. Take a stroll along the streets to experience the charm of the city and observe local customs.

Next, you will visit Citadel Hill, which offers lovely panoramic views of the old town.

Head to the famous Roman Theater which was built around the 2nd century AD. The day’s tour will end at King Abdullah Mosque, a blue-domed mosque decorated with Quranic inscriptions.

Head for Jerash in the morning, one of the 10 great cities of the Roman civilization. Though only ruins remain after thousands of years, they will inspire you to imagine the prosperity and beauty of this great city during its peak.

Take a walk through its provincial streets and markets to acquaint yourself with its illustrious past. There are many historical sites to see in Jerash, and your guide will regale you with tales from its legendary history.

Next, you will be transferred to Petra.

Located in the desert, Petra is famous for the color of the rock that most of its structures are carved from — for this reason, it is often called the “Rose City.” A narrow gorge, called Siq, opens to Petra’s hidden façade.

As you exit the Siq, you will be greeted by the magnificent rosy red of Al Khazna (The Treasury). However, Petra is more than just Al Khazna. There is much to explore, including many tombs and ruins carved out of the red sandstone mountains.

Transfer to Wadi Rum at the end of the day.

This day’s tour will start in Wadi Rum, which is also known as the Valley of the Moon. Your guide can take you in a four-wheel-drive around this magnificent desert. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tranquility of this Martian landscape.

Next, you will visit Karak Castle, one of the largest crusader castles designed to keep a watchful eye on traders and travelers in the ancient past. Your guide will give you a brief history of the castle.

Afterward, you will go to Aqaba, a lovely seaside town, and spend the rest of the day soaking in its scenic beauty.

Put on your life jacket and get ready to participate in some exciting water sports, from water scooter rides to diving (cost will be on your own). Afterward, your guide will show you around the city streets.

You will then be transferred to a hotel near the Dead Sea.

Have fun in the Dead sea in the morning. Floating in the Dead Sea is a truly remarkable experience!

Continue to Madaba, which is not only an important gathering place for Christians in Jordan, but also a great place to see spectacular Byzantine-era mosaics.

Later, you will visit Mount Nebo. When you get to the top of the mountain, you will see a steel serpentine cross, which symbolizes the staff of Moses, and catch panoramic views of the Dead Sea, Jordan River, and even Jerusalem.

Return to Amman by car.

Your driver will transfer you to the airport, where you can take your flight back home.
